Shepherding The Children: Vision For Their Future
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them,
for such is the Kingdom of God” (Mark 10:14). Therefore, we strive
to show the children entrusted to us who Jesus is. We further seek
to give them a rich, exciting knowledge of God’s incomparable
Word, the Bible — in which Jesus’ love, God’s grace, and the only
path to salvation are made known.
To do so, we embrace a respected Sunday School curriculum (Children
Desiring God) which helps us show each child God’s character and the
mighty deeds He did, and is willing to do, to redeem His beloved ones.
We also teach the children about worship – seeking to nurture them
into being knowledgeable, enthusiastic worshippers by engaging
them with the hands-on, interactive approach of Children & Worship.
Finally, and especially on Wednesday-nights, we engage the children
in the intentional, yet fun-filled, atmosphere of the AWANA Bible-
verse memorizing clubs. We also reach-out to those who are without
Christ or who are without a church-home.
