Music & Worship
Worship and Word are at the core of what we do at Grace Bible Church. Exalting the name of Christ and going deep into His Word are what define our weekly worship services. We do that by bringing together the doctrinal richness of traditional hymns with the fresh expressions of contemporary worship.
The Grace Choir
The Grace Choir is composed of men and women high school age and above. They not only help to lead the congregation in worship, but prepare and sing a variety of musical styles to encourage the body of Christ. We are also a close small group who shares and prays regularly for one another. The choir meets on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. (September – May) If you would like more information or are interested in joining the choir, contact Dr. Mark Taylor. (mark@gracebiblegrandville.org)
Grace Handbell Ensemble
Instrumental Ensembles
Our instrumental praise teams are essential to our expressions of worship. Instrumentation varies each week using organ, piano, guitars, percussion, brass and strings – all to enhance the praises of God’s people. Additions to the team are always welcome. Talk to Dr. Mark Taylor if you would like to join. (mark@gracebiblegrandville.org)
Musicians
Grace Choirs
Our time of Lord’s Day worship is full of praise, prayer, and preaching. The Grace Choir has a lead role in setting our affections on Christ in His Word. The Grace Choir helps us realize that the entire gathering of God’s people is a chorus singing praise to the Lord. The Grace Choir is open to everyone high school age and older. Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Contact Dr. Mark Taylor for more information. (mark@gracebiblegrandville.org)
Praise Teams
During the summer months, while the Grace Choir is on break, smaller praise teams are formed to aid in leading worship each Sunday. You do not have to be a part of the Grace Choir to participate in the summer praise teams. Rehearsals take place on Sunday mornings from 8:00 – 8:30 am. Contact Dr. Mark Taylor for more information. Instrumentalists
Instrumentalists are a vital part of our worship. Their gifts and abilities enhance and enable our congregation to lift the name of Christ. At Grace, we use a variety of instruments to accompany our worship service. From pianists, organists and keyboard players to percussionists and guitarists, each offers a unique addition to our expressions of worship. The instrumentalists rehearse on Sunday mornings from 8:00 – 8:30 am. If you would like to be involved, please contact Dr. Mark Taylor. (mark@gracebiblegrandville.org)
